The members of the South Eastern Michigan chapter of RESA have raised over $500 for Habitat for humanity! Selling Impressions (Melody Herr, Jennifer Cohol & Jill Neugebauer), Staging Impressions (Deborah Chene), Home Sweet Home Staging (Marianne Sweet) and Stage-Show-Sell (Virginia Tatseos) all donated numerous hours and provided the inventory (for two months) to stage this now beautiful home in Clawson Michigan. An invitation only preview for press and Realtors was held on Friday, the first gorgeous day of the year, and a public open house was held on Sunday which was also a nice day. Young relatives of the stagers held a lemonade stand on Sunday which raised some additional funds for Habitat.
Three Free Home Staging Consultations were awarded, along with a chance to ride in a classic restored Ford Mustang or Cadillac made the event fun for everyone.
RESA -SEM is collaborating with Habitat on future projects to continue helping place families into affordable housing. Times might be tough for us but we recognize that there are people for whom tough times are a way of life, not just due to the current economic turmoil. When we give to others, our lives our enriched in ways that money just can't provide.
